FURLICIOUS 5k/10k Pup Run
Join your fellow dog-loving San Diegans as we run for (and with) pups! Our inaugural 5K/10K pup run will raise money for both Second Chance K9 rescue founded by former Green Beret and San Diegan, Travis Hall, and the San Diego County Deputy Sheriffs Foundation. Bring the whole family and your well-behaved pup to this fun-filled event!
Second Chance K9 focuses solely on connecting high-drive Military ADA-recognized Service Dogs with SOF of all branches of the military suffering from PTSD.
Early risers can join in on a free group class to help prepare your body for the run/walk or stroll. Led by a local fitness instructor. Kiddos and pups are encouraged to participate.
Raffle prizes for those who participate in the obstacles out on the course during the race. After the race, those 21 and up can celebrate with a mimosa in our mimosa garden. There will be other refreshments and food trucks to purchase meals from, post-race. Bring your family, friends, well-behaved pups, and help us make a positive impact on the lives of our four-legged friends.
Cash prizes for top finishers and best team spirit both for our virtual runners and our in-person competitors. Lets do it for the dogs!
